I work intuitively to build my art.

Comprised of many layers of paint, ink, pencil, and collage, my pieces mix shapes and texture, giving the viewer different ways to explore and experience my art. What lays beneath (often repurposed materials) is as important as what sits on the surface. As I work, I continually ask not only what do my eyes need to see but also what do my hands need to feel.

Although my art is mostly abstract, I hold a place for whimsy, typically in the form of cats.
